By engaging them in the process, I helped them better understand the importance of budgeting, needs versus wants, and making thoughtful spending decisions.\r\n\r\nYour donation allowed us to include more expensive and high-impact items in the store, which directly supported our lessons on long-term saving. By having access to a wider variety of items, students were able to practice setting goals and making decisions about whether to save for something they really wanted, or to spend their money immediately. This hands-on experience provided invaluable insights into financial planning.\r\n\r\nIn addition, your support enabled us to introduce the concept of managing checking versus savings accounts. Students learned how to track their earnings, make deposits, and understand the benefits of saving money for future goals. This practical application of financial concepts has already made a lasting impact on their understanding of money management.\r\n\r\nThe students have gained so much from this experience, and I truly believe it will shape the way they approach money in the future.
