Many of my students need multiple ways to interact with the curriculum. Allowing them access to Nearpod will give this opportunity. Through Nearpod I will be able to create lessons that students can access on their own, or while in class.
I teach at a Title I school where many of our students qualify for the free and reduced lunch program.
The use of Nearpod will enhance my classroom with built-in functions that allow me to give my students the opportunity to communicate with their peers, and ensures participation and collaboration. Having the use of Nearpod, my students will be able to streamline their learning through module-based instruction that includes virtual field trips, videos, reading materials, polls, questions, and collaboration. Students are able to self-pace or interact with the class during a teacher-led Nearpod lesson. Students will be able to use this platform during at-home learning throughout the year.
