Our students are highly energetic and diverse. Many students are first-generation Americans and we speak over 22 different languages in 7th grade alone. The students that will tend to the garden are current 6th graders that are in need of strong connections with the adults that support them. By establishing a gardening community, teachers and students can connect prior to the next school year.
