My students both last year and this year were and are so excited to use the materails. Your donations went towards items that I use as STEM bins and Math Manipulatives so each student or pair of students can have a set to work with.\r\nThe STEM bin materials of the magnetic building pieces and the connecting blocks have been a big draw for the bins. Students choose the bins with the provided materials daily. They really enjoy seeing what they can build. The 3D shapes have been a big help in giving the students a way to feel and experience the attributes of the shapes. They have given the students a chance explore the shapes themselves and make observations. This has helped the students gain a better understanding of the 3D shapes.\r\nThank you again for thinking of my students and helping to make my classroom a more interactive place where the students enjoy learning and exploring!","fullyFundedDate":1745790346457,"projectUrl":"project/sensational-shapes/9146682/","projectTitle":"Sensational Shapes","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Arnold","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp684808_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1469676434285","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/684808"},{"teacherId":8855750,"projectId":9061361,"letterContent":"My \"Classroom Reset & Refocus For The New Year!\" project helped my students and I bring the school year to a closure with effectiveness and ease. Resetting and refocusing with some resources and material is just what was needed. The materials that were purchased served great purpose within our second grade classroom. After being in school for several months, students showed they were more independent and ready to be even more productive.\r\n\r\nMy students were able to adhere to the allotted time provided during small focus groups and make time efficient transitions with the use of the new \"Lakeshore Giant Classroom Timer\" we received. The TPT gift card allowed me to purchase fun and engaging activities that helped me create review packets for students to work on during independent working time. Creating those packets was hassle free because I had the help of my helpful students stapling the packets with our new Bostitch Electric Stapler! They had a blast using this safe stapler. \r\n\r\nWith the help of the Lakeshore Word Family Flip Books, my students were building on to their vocabulary and their writing skills with the new words learned. The new resources you provided have made a tremendous difference in my classroom. From the moment my second-grade students walked in and saw the new materials, their faces lit up with pure excitement.\r\n\r\nWe've already used the new supplies for a hands-on STEM project where students designed their own weather instruments and tracked patterns over two weeks. With the help of our new charts, tools, and visual aids, they were able to work together in teams, record their observations, and even present their findings to the class. It was incredible to see their confidence grow as they became little scientists in action.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we're diving into a unit on ecosystems, and the students will be using these materials to create interactive models of different habitats. Thanks to your donation, they'll be able to explore and learn in a way that's engaging, meaningful, and fun. Your kindness has not only enhanced our classroom — it has sparked a love of learning that will last far beyond this school year.
