The use of reading materials is a daily occurance in the classroom. Many students require supports that are rooted in phonics and engagement. Our goal is not only to identify specific needs but have fun doing so. The products I selected will allow 4th graders to structurally focus with teachers, collaborate with peers, and work independently all while having a blast! Students should have choices and these materials provide them with the necessary choices they need to excel. My list provides digital and school-building based resources. The TIME For Kids selected will allow students to read content that interests them. This will help us increase reading ability because students will have access to materials that engage them and improve their reading skills. In the event that distance learning resumes, students will continue to have access to world events through reading and other digital learning materials. Help me to make this list a reality for forty-four 4th graders who are excited and eager to return to school.
