The new 9-cube storage shelf and fabric storage bins give each student a designated place for classroom materials, books, activities, and student supplies. Having materials organized and easy to access helps students become more independent and spend less time searching for what they need and more time focused on learning. The two soft fleece blankets have also added a comfortable option to our classroom, giving students a cozy space to take a short break, read, or regroup when they need a moment to reset.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new storage bins and shelf, they were excited to find out that each of them would be getting their own bin to keep their things in. These items are also helping teach each student about responsibility. Students enjoyed helping decide where materials should go and learning that everything now has a specific place. It has been especially rewarding to see students take ownership of keeping our classroom organized and knowing where to find and return materials independently.\r\n\r\nOne special classroom moment has been watching students use the new space during independent work and reading activities. Instead of having materials scattered around the classroom, students can easily find the supplies or activities they need and return items when they are finished. The blankets have also provided a simple way to make our classroom feel more comfortable and inviting. For students who need a quiet moment, having a cozy option can help them regroup so they are ready to return to learning.","fullyFundedDate":1785167952850,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-storage-and-comfort/10381258/","projectTitle":"Classroom Storage and Comfort","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Glander","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/jarod-glander"},{"teacherId":4295040,"projectId":10036777,"letterContent":"Your generous donation gave my students the chance to plant their own seeds.
