As a school with high levels of poverty, it is important to level the playing field so that all students are given the same chances to excel and shine. I want to provide all of my students an opportunity to collaborate and investigate through the integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). My students love working as a team to solve problems. I want to create an environment that fosters that collaboration and communication. One that encourages chance taking and lesson learning when things don't go as they had planned.
