The impact of these contributions on my classroom has been truly remarkable. My students absolutely love having their own personal space to work in. Each desk provides a dedicated area where they can store their laptops, headphones, and all the materials related to our curriculum, which helps keep everything organized and easily accessible.\r\nWhat truly makes this situation special is that my students are the only kindergarteners at JDPS who have their own desks. When they discovered that they would be getting desks, their excitement was palpable, and it made them feel incredibly valued and unique. This sense of ownership has positively influenced their engagement and enthusiasm for learning.\r\nAdditionally, teaching the science of reading has become significantly easier with the introduction of these desks. Having a designated workspace not only fosters a better learning environment but also greatly enhances our time management during lessons. Overall, these desks have not only transformed the physical layout of our classroom but have also enriched the educational experience for my students in countless ways.
