Students are able to visit our Self-Care Station and discreetly take the hygiene and personal-care items they need, whether that is deodorant, chapstick, hair ties, pimple patches, or other everyday essentials. One of my favorite moments has been watching students realize that these items are truly there for them—no questions asked and no reason to feel embarrassed about needing something.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new supplies, they were so excited! They immediately noticed the new items and loved looking through everything that was available. What may seem like a small item to us can mean so much to a student who may not have access to it at home. Seeing their excitement and confidence has been incredibly rewarding.\r\n\r\nOur next step is to continue growing the Self-Care Station and making it a normal, welcoming resource within our school. I want our students to know that taking care of themselves is important and that asking for something they need should never be embarrassing. As students continue using the station, we will learn more about which items they need most and keep adapting it to better serve them.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping us create a space where our students can feel cared for, comfortable, and confident. Instead of handing pencils back to me directly or leaving them around the room, students can place them back in the clip, which keeps everything neat and visible.\r\n\r\nThe giant paper magnet towel is also extremely helpful because it allows me to clearly display important information—especially test dates. Students can easily see upcoming assessments, which helps them stay prepared and keeps everyone on the same page.\r\n\r\nThe desk calendar helps me stay on top of daily responsibilities, deadlines, meetings, and upcoming events. Having it right on my desk makes it easy to plan lessons, track student progress, and stay organized throughout the week.\r\n\r\nThe clock labels are another valuable tool. They help students sign in and out for the bathroom efficiently, both in 7th and 8th grade. With the labels, students can mark the time they leave and return without interrupting instruction, which keeps the class running smoothly and maintains accountability.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for donating these items to my classroom.
