I have chosen to request chair pouches to help my students be more organized. They have desks but need even more to help them keep their items tidy and quickly find necessary learning materials. These few math and language materials will also help my students make progress in their second grade learning and reaching second grade standards. My students will benefit from using visuals and manipulatives to enhance their learning. The story wands will encourage reading comprehension for my students and sight word activities will help increase fluency. The math supplies will provide hands-on experiences to increase understanding of concepts. Chair pouches will hold their journals, math books, and library books.
