Each student has a slot and a charger. This makes students more stress free. Besides our regular sand play, we have been able to create a pumpkin themed sensory bin where students followed recipe cards to make pumpkin pies to go along with our Pumpkin Play Unit. In December, students followed a shopping list and shopped for holiday themed items that correlated with our Holiday Unit.\r\n\r\nThis bin fits our needs perfectly! The size allows for two students at a time to play safely together without making a mess. We also greatly appreciate that our bin is on wheels and can be wheeled off to the side when not in use. When not in use, it is large enough to serve as another surface for students to work or play on. We have a 3D printer! The students (and staff) are in love! It has been simply amazing to learn along side the students how to use the printer. The students are always eager to come into STEM (whether it is their class time or not) to see what the latest fidget is and how well it printed. \r\n\r\nThe students that seem to be the most fascinated by the printer are the students that struggle with school. These students come in excited and go directly to the printer and become so very calm just watching the printer work. \r\n\r\nAll students have had so many questions.
