During our literacy block, students explore several stations. One station is our listening center. We were given a new listening center but are in need of some exciting and enriching read-alongs to go with it! This project will help to create a love for reading fiction and non-fiction texts in my kindergartners during this critical part of their education. They will be able to practice their early concepts of print skills as well as explore topics they might not have been exposed to before. These read-alongs will give my diverse and early learners an alternative way to develop their literacy skills.
