I have learned that my students LOVE graphic novels and getting into a series of books. Many of my students come from single parent homes or may even be staying with relatives other than their parents. Many eat breakfast as well as lunch at school and are sent home with a dinner bag. Our school does an excellent job of doing what they can to keep the kids engaged and working towards their success in the classroom. We offer many programs before, during and after school to get families involved with our school community and their children's education.
