Over the last several months I have been able to provide my students with the materials they need to learn and engage in learning without impacting the time in class to pass out materials.\r\n\r\nThe zip pouches have been a huge change agent for my students to keep our materials organized. The students have easy access to what they need in class and have ownership of their materials. Students now independently pull out the pouch to use whenever they need manipulatives to help them with their work. \r\n\r\nThe whiteboards with the hundreds chart, number line and ten frame have also been a huge help for students. When they are working I see students pull it out of their pouch and work out the problems without having to use paper, and they like using the whiteboard and markers. \r\n\r\nAs well, the number of the day chart has been a huge hit for my students. They love taking turns writing out the various parts, such as the tally marks and drawing the picture. It has helped my students to gain an understanding of expanded form and base 10 / place value. The moment the wobble cushion, headphones, pencil sharpener, and tennis balls arrived, their eyes lit up with excitement. We immediately put everything to use. Chairs and desks are now quiet thanks to the tennis balls, and the wobble cushion has become a favorite for students who need to move while staying focused. The sharpener has saved us time during transitions, and the headphones have made a huge difference during our digital reading center, helping students concentrate without distractions.\r\n These tools have truly transformed our learning environment. Students now use the headphones during their personalized intervention time, allowing them to focus on activities and lessons that match their individual learning levels. Whether they're working on phonics, reading fluency, or comprehension skills, the headphones help minimize distractions and create a quiet space for targeted growth. The calm and focused energy in the classroom has noticeably improved, and students are more engaged and confident in their learning. I'm so grateful for your kindness! Having reliable mice allows students to navigate these programs accurately and confidently, which helps them stay focused on learning rather than struggling with broken or unresponsive equipment.\r\n\r\nWhat excites students most is how easy and comfortable the new mice are to use. They immediately noticed the difference and were thrilled that their work no longer gets interrupted by malfunctioning tools. Tasks that once caused frustration are now completed with confidence, and students feel proud using technology that works well.\r\n\r\nSeveral students who previously struggled with fine motor control or became easily frustrated during digital tasks have especially benefited. As the teacher, I can easily look and spot if they have their materials for the day. \r\n\r\nWhen it's time to get on our Chromebooks in reading and math for daily intervention time, students simply reach behind them! No time is wasted digging in desks or book bags. We are able to spend more time learning and less time setting up. Not having to go to their bookbag during the day allows students to stay focused on the current task.\r\n\r\nCurrently in math, we are starting our unit on measurement.
