These materials will support students learning through music movement, writing and Literacy. Having the proper materials to support learning is important for both the teacher and the learner to be successful in education. In the Library/Listening center the wireless headphones and cozy chairs will provide students with an opportunity to explore this center with out restrictions from headphone wires, better access to books, writing materials and CD’s. The cozy chairs will give students the opportunity to sit and read while being in a comfortable area. All my students have now are plastic lawn child size chairs. I want my students to develop a love for reading books while in a comfortable and inviting environment. The splash mats, water whisk and the water beads will be useful in in our sand and water table. The splash mats will help keep students safe by preventing students and teachers from spills and falls on the floor, while the water beads and the water whisk will motivate students to explore new textures, colors and the motion of water. The brush bottle tops in the art area will enhance fine motor skills for students, while painting and gluing art projects. The mini books will encourage students to become authors and illustrators of their own stories of interest. The engineer coaster set will provide my students with the opportunity to build and explore the method of trail and error when manipulating the coaster disk on the tracks. The storage bins will be used for organization in our classroom, they will help store materials on shelves and allow easy access for students. The mailbox storage will also help keep student work in an organize manner and allow easy access for the student and the teacher.
