Distance learning for kindergarten can be challenging. Many of my students come from low-income families and during a normal school year cannot afford to bring the supplies to school that they need for a successful environment, let alone have the materials needed at home to continue learning while we have to learn during distance learning. The resources that I have chosen will help them learn their basic knowledge of letters, letter sounds, blends, and numbers. The document camera will be utilized for my students to see objects or texts clearly, which is important for their comprehension and understanding. My kindergartners follow instructions better when they can see a demonstration first, rather than just be told how to do something. All these materials will help increase the success of every online lesson for my class.
