They were heartened to know that community members wanted to support their learning, intrigued by what the new equipment was, and excited to think about how their lab experiences in the course would expand.\r\n\r\nThe pictures show several of the students doing some pre-lab work. They were checking that they knew how to properly take blood pressures and whether body position (standing, sitting, lying down) would make a difference on the measurement. Now that the school year is well underway, they are designing their individual labs where they will each use their knowledge and skills to carry out a unique investigation. Having an array of equipment means fewer limits as they determine what they would like to explore in further depth.\r\n\r\nAdditionally, the supplies you funded will be shared with the younger students in our Human Biology courses.
