Your donation will have a phenomenal impact. Shakespeare is a subject that isn't always appreciated or easy for students to understand. What makes it even more frustrating for many students is not having enough material at hand in order to complete assignments and readings.\r\n\r\nBefore your donation, reading in our classroom looked very different. While we made the best of the situation, our class lacked materials to truly fulfill the assignments at hand. Certain portions of the play, Romeo and Juliet, were read aloud and acted out in class. We didn't have enough copies of the book for each student to have their own. Following along was difficult, and it made the lesson daunting and harder to understand.\r\n\r\nSeveral of my quieter students have felt more confident with this project because they are now able to follow along more closely, and several have even found the confidence to read more out loud. Students have come to look forward to reading Shakespeare and the dialogue within our classroom has increased significantly since receiving your donation.","fullyFundedDate":1776954708090,"projectUrl":"project/no-fear-shakespeare-is-here/10205835/","projectTitle":"No Fear, Shakespeare is Here!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Tatum","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10482657"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_86822","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":426,"numTeachers":22,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":19,"percentWhite":26,"percentIndigenous":11,"percentLatinx":18,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":4,"percentMultiracialImputed":19,"gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"19.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":60.0,"schoolId":86822,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Idabel High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Idabel High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/oklahoma/idabel-public-schools/idabel-high-school/86822"}
