The wobble stools arrived, and my students love them. The excitement was contagious—students were arriving early to make sure they could get a wobble stool and carrying them around so that others couldn't take them.\r\n\r\nNow, the wobble stools are in daily use throughout our classroom. Students choose them during independent reading, group work, and direct instruction. This week, I watched several of my students with ADHD stay completely focused during a 20-minute reading test—gently rocking on their stools while staying on task. Before the stools, they would have struggled to stay seated for even half that time. The difference is remarkable.\r\n\r\nWhat I love most is seeing students sit upright and engaged instead of slouched over their desks. Looking ahead, we're diving into a research unit where students will research and present on early American Presidents. I know the wobble stools will help them stay focused during research time and confident during their presentations. Thanks to you, my students have what they need to succeed.\r\nThank you for investing in my students and their future!","fullyFundedDate":1769178068561,"projectUrl":"project/wobble-into-learning-flexible-seating-f/10036349/","projectTitle":"Wobble Into Learning: Flexible Seating for Active Minds","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Rasmussen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3201261_orig.jpg?crop=1730,1730,x168,y505&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1588194586050","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3201261"},{"teacherId":10298954,"projectId":9849839,"letterContent":"Thank you for your donations for my TEACHER, I'M HUNGRY project. They have been very respectful and have only requested a snack when they weren't feeling their best. I was also unable to take pictures to share because I don't have any parent permission to show their children in photos. Trust me. The snacks have made a world of difference.
