Most of my students are learning English through immersion and need extra support in reading. Most history books are pretty dull and can be very difficult for my students to understand. As a history teacher, I love this book and would like to use it to help support my students English development and understanding of history. This book is concise, uses easy language and is full of colors and visuals; everything my students who are learning English need to help them understand and be successful. Many times EL students get lost in text, but with the clarity and visuals of this book, I believe they can succeed!
