The breathing activity book and trace games are a great addition to the classroom clam down corner. The 70 play activities book I have read and done a few with the class already. I am excited to implement it into my schedule next year regularly as the benefits I see already have helped my students be more aware if themselves and even help them regulate when upset. \r\nThe new cushions have a silly story, they arrived very expertly vacume packed which left them about 1/4 of an inch thick each...that led to an investigation into what vacume packaging is and how air can take up space. Remind you this is a very high order thinking skill for many, let alone first graders, but the class was up for the challenge! \r\nAnytime a student needs time to regulate and reset, even if it is just 2 minutes it has been greatly improved by your donation. This ability to regulte on the classroom saves the student lost classtime and even keeps a para in the room as well to help with the other students that require their services. I can not thank you enough, and hope you continue to prosper and give back so graciously to the education system.","fullyFundedDate":1764704676667,"projectUrl":"project/calm-comfy-classroom/9770180/","projectTitle":"Calm & Comfy Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Schroeder","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10045573_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1759097196693","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10045573"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_56679","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":106,"numTeachers":4,"percentFrplEligible":30,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":3,"percentWhite":88,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":3,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"26.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":50.0,"schoolId":56679,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Hope School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Hope School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/kansas/rural-vista-usd-481/hope-elementary-school/56679"}
