We completed the molecular model builds during our Chemistry unit. Students learned about atoms, elements on the periodic table, compounds and molecules. The students were able to use the molecular model kits to build models of compounds and understand how molecules look and how to count the atoms in a compound. \r\nWhen students first started putting together the molecules and comparing them to the 2-D images on paper, I heard a lot of \"I get it now\" and \"this makes sense now\" from students. We were able to let the students work in pairs to complete the models. This gave each student a better view and experience. \r\nWe are forever grateful for your donation that made this experience possible. This will be something the students remember for years to come.
