We are a large elementary school located in Texas. Much of the community and student population are Hispanic and African American; and many of our students come from low-income households. In our community, many of our students come from single parent households with two or more children. Many of our families function in survival mode on a daily basis and regularly go without the bare necessities. We often hold food drives, toy drives, and raise money for our families in need. We also provide shoes, backpacks, household goods, school supplies, uniforms, and other clothing items for our students.

About my class
