The math and reading games you donated have truly changed our days. Now, when I say it's time for a new game, the kids get excited. One quiet student, who usually keeps to himself, surprised me by jumping right in last week—and I watched him help another child sound out a tricky word. I am happy that my students can enjoy their time and learn appropriate behaviors. \r\n\r\nThe emotional regulation books have become a real cornerstone in our daily routine. We read them together during our morning circle, and I've seen students start to use the strategies on their own. Just last week, one of my first graders used a breathing technique from one of the books to calm down after feeling frustrated—seeing that growth in such a young learner made my day.\r\n\r\nHaving these resources has also allowed me and my three amazing aides to run small groups that meet each child right where they are. I love being able to celebrate even the smallest achievements, like a student reading their first sentence independently or solving a tricky math puzzle with a friend.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, I'm seeing kids try things they never would have before. One afternoon, I watched a student who usually struggles with reading quietly work through a page. When he finished, he looked up at me, his whole face lit up, and just said, \"Hey, I did it!\" We make a big deal out of these little victories, and I know these moments are possible because of your help.
