My students will each have their own set of headphones to use each day which will minimize sharing even more during this pandemic and also give students responsibility to care for their set of headphones. Technology is becoming a huge part of education but I do not have decent headphones for them to use which would allow them to each focus on their individual work without distractions. My Students will be able to listen to my lesson but also record themselves so that I can hear them too. These books will help my students because they need to be engaged and excited to learn how to read. The variety of books will provide them with a selection they are interested in but also show them new books that they wouldn't normally look at on their own. My students are working hard to improve their reading and I want to help each one of them achieve their goals! It is important to have books in my classroom that I can allow students to take home during remote learning but also books that we can use during class. These books will allow me to support my students during remote learning because I will be able to send multiple books home with each student and they can return them when school starts up again. Reading is a critical part of learning and I want to support these wonderful students during COVID.
