I use the sticky chart tablets on a daily basis to create anchor charts and other visuals for the students. For example, we are currently studying personal financial literacy. After listing the vocabulary words in English, I then list them in Spanish. The students and I review the words multiple times a week and discuss meaning of the words, their similarities and differences in English and Spanish, and how the words connect to what they are learning. \r\nAs for the cardstock, I used it to make seasonal hallway displays. For Valentine's Day, the students colored a heart shaped concha. Their hearts were added to a door display titled All You Need is Love and Conchas. And to show off their bilingual pride, the students colored a superhero. \r\nThe students were excited to know that people made these donations to our classroom. It's a good example of belonging to a caring community.
