My second grade team is using the books for our reading groups. We have students of different reading levels all among second grade. Our students range from non readers to advance readers. We wanted to begin sets for these children to be able to read in partners and begin to learn how to analazing text. The pictures that are attached are some of our advanced readers reading the books with their partners.\r\nThese advanced readers now have 5 sets of 20 books to use from now until the end of the school year. They will be working on reading each chapter, discussing what has happened, and summarizing the text. This with help better prepare our students for third grade. The students just began January Joker and are enjoying it. They are attentively reading with each other and are excited to read each chapter to see what will happen in the story. The tunnel and balance beams have been great for working on gross motor input. \r\nThese items have been used every single day to support my classroom. Thanks to you, my students and I have been able to use our new resources in ways that have already transformed daily learning.\r\n\r\nThe moment the materials arrived, the classroom buzzed with excitement. My students crowded around the boxes, guessing what might be inside, and when the new supplies were revealed, they erupted into cheers. One student held up a set of the new manipulatives and said, \"We get to use this? For real?\" Their joy was genuine and contagious.\r\n\r\nSince then, we've put the resources to meaningful use. Recently, my class began a hands-on project focused on problem-solving and collaboration. With the new tools, students created small group \"challenge stations\" where they designed, built, tested, and refined solutions to real-world tasks. One memorable moment came when a group that had been struggling with teamwork finally completed their design—and immediately high-fived each other with huge smiles. They proudly explained every detail of their work, and it was clear that having the right materials helped them feel capable, confident, and creative.\r\n\r\nYour contribution gave you a small window into our classroom, and I want you to know that your impact continues to grow. As our next step, students will build on this project by documenting their designs, reflecting on their process, and presenting their creations to their classmates. The materials you funded will continue to support their learning as they move into more complex challenges that encourage exploration, persistence, and curiosity.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in my students.
