Students have been experimenting with the chemical reaction behind bath bombs, which involves a lot of fizzing, bubbling, and mess! \r\n\r\nWe are already putting these items to good use. The tissues and paper towels have been essential as cold season hits, keeping our room healthy and allowing students to stay engaged rather than distracted. The snacks have become a small but meaningful way to help students refuel before challenging lessons, and they've noticeably improved focus during afternoon classes. I can't begin to thank you for the waffle machine you gave my students. Originally I had asked for a pancake machine which became unavailable but lucky for us it was a blessing in disguise because we got an even better waffle in a stick machine. Yesterday, we used it for the first time and the kids loved it. I brought my daughter to work to help me make over 300 waffle sticks for the students and teachers as well. Today, we had police officers and firefighters come to our school for a community service project I did with my special education students for them instead of just giving them their thank you gifts we also made them waffles and had them choose their own toppings. They couldn't believe what amazing donors there are that gave this amazing waffle machine not only to my students but for them as well. The maintenance crew from the Orange public schools came by to get waffles as well and were so touched. This was such an amazing gift from you and is the gift that keeps on giving. There was such disappointment that students and staff only got one each since it was so good and everyone is patiently waiting to have another waffle party next year.
