I started printing out some items from Teacherspayteacher.com that will not only help with storytelling but help enhance students love for learning with STEAM. I am also done printing them out and waiting for more ink to arrive so I can print the rest. This way, I can start laminating them to keep the resources safe so we can use them year after year in our academic centers. \r\n\r\nI was able to get a whole year set of STEAM activities for our science center so students can practice retelling what they will learn in our monthly ELA and reading picture books about pumpkins, plants/trees, shells, different holidays, human body, colors, apples, buildings, magnets, insects, snow/winter and etc. Every year, my students love to retell stories about what from read aloud books with each other. This year, they will get more opportunities to retell what they learn while getting their minds and hands busy in our science center. It is going to so priceless to see them not just engaged but excited to take what they have learned into exploring them through the eyes of a young scientists.\r\n\r\nOnce again, thank you so much for your generosity and kindness. Last year, every few week we had to get new instant hand sanitizer bottle because we use them like crazy...before we leave to eat snack, eat lunch, return from 2 recesses and lunch. Being able to get two gallons size instant hand sanitizer will help eliminate the need to go get new bottles. We can just refill the empty bottles over and over again. This year, we were told the our district is not providing any more disinfecting wipes. Being able to get some from you means the world to us so we can keep our tables clean after eating snacks/breakfast.\r\n\r\nOnce again thank you for your help.
