I read books often in class and I like to have students create sound pieces and Latinos that can enhance the story. Having a wider variety of instruments will help develop the students creative minds when choosing which instrument best fits the part. \r\n\r\nI introduced the I instruments to the students and demonstrated how to play each one. They were able to explore the sound and even attempt to improvise beats to reggae music with the new instruments.\r\n\r\nPlacing instruments in student's hands changes a students whole demeanor. Their eyes light up and they get so excited!! I love being the facilitator to their discovery of instruments and their sound.
