The Didax Unifix Manipulative Ten-Frame Train Set and sensory sand have quickly become meaningful tools that my kindergarten students use daily to learn, explore, and grow.\r\n\r\nWhen my students were first introduced to the Unifix ten-frame trains, their excitement was immediate. They eagerly began snapping cubes together, counting aloud, and proudly showing how they could make numbers in different ways. These manipulatives have helped my students visualize number relationships, practice making ten, and strengthen their understanding of addition and subtraction. Learning math is no longer abstract—it is something they can see, touch, and build with confidence.\r\n\r\nThe sensory sand has also made a powerful impact on our classroom environment. During sensory centers and calm-down breaks, students use the sand to scoop, pour, mold, and create. This has helped many students regulate their emotions, improve focus, and return to learning ready and calm. I've seen students who once struggled to sit and concentrate now able to participate more fully after using the sensory materials.\r\n\r\nBecause of this project, my students are not only building strong math foundations but also developing self-regulation, fine motor skills, and confidence.
