Our students love cooking and are very creative, so pretending to cook noodle soup and build burgers has lead to many fun interactions. The tongs that come with the noodle game help their fine motor skills, the game encourages them to take turns and communicate with their peers. The little people were an immediate hit, and our barn finally has animals and a farmer. One student even thought to take the animals on a plane ride. The students love the kinetic sand and floam for sensory time, using it to build towers and letter shapes. \r\n\r\nIt can be very difficult for students in a special education classroom to regulate and focus.
