Traditionally students would sit on a chair behind a desk. Today, ours students are moving out of the "traditional"! Our students love to move and stand. Who says you cannot learn standing up? Each child is unique and learns differently. Why shouldn't their learning space be as unique as them. Students need different types of seating and desks for an optimal learning environment. Many of our students have physical or attention disabilities that need movement. These kids need the opportunity of movement or alternative seating so they can remain in the classroom with out missing instruction! It also seems now a days, our children's attention spans are shorter due to technology...these desks allow mobility and a change in learning environment!
