One exciting classroom moment was when a group of students asked AI to design their future home and then worked together to construct it piece by piece with LEGOs, comparing their own designs with the AI-generated model.\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their faces lit up with excitement. Many immediately began brainstorming what they wanted to build and couldn't wait to get started. The combination of hands-on building and AI integration sparked curiosity and motivated them to think outside the box.\r\nAs a next step, students are working on a larger project where they will design and build models of futuristic cars. They'll use AI to generate blueprints, then collaborate in groups to create physical LEGO prototypes. This project will challenge them to combine creativity, teamwork, and real-world problem-solving skills, while continuing to strengthen their interest in STEAM.","fullyFundedDate":1749215603250,"projectUrl":"project/stem-ai/9334039/","projectTitle":"STEM & AI","teacherDisplayName":"Dr. Nevarez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5184193"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_82310","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":291,"numTeachers":19,"percentFrplEligible":66,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":29,"percentWhite":2,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":63,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"1 - 4","studentTeacherRatio":"15.3:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":70.5,"schoolId":82310,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Harrison Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Harrison Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-jersey/roselle-public-schools/harrison-elementary-school/82310"}
