Many of the supplies will allow my students to engage in meaningful learning in the classroom. My students do a lot of cooperative learning. Having color coded containers, which will contain different learning activities will facilitate group work in the classroom. Inside each container will be different assignments with the necessary materials, such as coloring pencils, markers and crayons. The staplers, markers, highlighters and other supplies of this sort will be used by the students, so that they may successfully complete the art component to many project based learning we do throughout the year. The organizational baskets, crates, will be used to help our classroom run smooth. For example, the mobile organizer will be used for our reading stations where we will have weekly activities for spelling, word work, reading skills, and writer's workshop. The adhesive paper holder will be used in the front of our classroom and part of our responsive classroom morning message. These supplies will allow my students to succeed in a variety of learning goals all while using cooperative learning strategies and incorporating all learning modalities. Thank you.
