The book allowed them to refine their use of reading strategies we have been learning about, such as making predictions, making inferences, and drawing conclusions. They also learned a good amount of history along the way.\r\nQuality books make a huge difference, so thank you for gifting my classroom with this treasure. Although some of my students are struggling readers and did not get to finish the book during the summer, they have an opportunity to complete the book by signing up for my Battle of the Books Book Club this fall.\r\nOnce again thank you for these treasures.
