The magnet letters are a new \"hot ticket\" item for my students. In even a short period of time, I've had students go from zero letter identification to using these magnets to build the full alphabet, in correct order. We also use them to play and spell new words and our names, so we've found so many uses for them already. \r\n\r\nThe magnetic letter writers are also an incredible resource. This has been helping to motivate struggling writers and actually get them writing, and with good letter formation. I cannot wait to see how this activity translates to paper pencil task writing. This classroom is brighter, calmer, and more technologically adept because of your generosity. We are in kindergarten so we do not use computers a ton but when we do I aim to make sure they see them as a tool, rather than a toy. We mostly use them for learning games, although I admit I give them a little fun time on Fridays if they've finished all of their work. \r\n\r\nThe headphones have allowed my students to focus on their own work, while also allowing me to work with students off the computer without hearing the sounds play aloud in the classroom.
