The building shape blocks are a massive hit, allowing students to explore complex math concepts like symmetry and balance in a tangible way. They are no longer just passively listening; they're actively constructing, experimenting, and problem-solving together.\r\n\r\nThe new file folders have helped us organize student work and project materials, which fosters a more supportive, structured, and positive learning environment where students can find what they need and focus on the task at hand. One of my goals as a teacher is to inspire students to be excited about learning and to help them navigate their learning journey in a way that is both meaningful and impactful. It can be challenging in today's economy to fund the resources and items needed to make learning enjoyable. My students loved reading, writing, exploring, and pushing themselves to challenge their limits. My students enjoy reading the \"Elephant and Piggie Books.\"\r\n\r\nReading in my class can vary in its presentation. Students enjoy reading independently as well as reading with a partner. They also challenge themselves to practice reading so that they can eventually read to the class (which is a highlight for them). I also provide them with the opportunity to read to stuffed animals (the elephant and piggie stuffed animal is a big hit). It is absolutely amazing to watch their eyes light up with enjoyment from reading. It was of great surprise and complete joy when I learned that you took the time and chose to be a donor for this project. My students were very excited when I stated that there were very kind people who wanted to help support our classroom. This in turn led into a conversation during circle time how kindness is shown and displayed to each other in many different ways. \r\nI arrived to my classroom and found this big box containing the sensory table. I began to unbox the sensory table in front of my students. There was alot of excitement in the air along with clapping. Their joy became my joy and it was because of very special donors such as yourself that allowed so much joy into out classroom. After the table was set up, I immediately filled one side with water and the other side with kinetic sand. This was a great opportunity for my students to work on turn taking skills. Future uses for the sensory table will include holiday specific sensory themes that I can use with for sensory and teaching purposes. Again, I am so very appreciative of your generosity. The biggest challenge we face with this program is keeping our store stocked with items that the students get excited about. Our store is open every Friday and students are able to come spend their well-earned points there. Our school has over 600 students, so keeping ample supply of items is tough.\r\n\r\nWith this project, we were able to add many fun and cool items to our store. The students were beyond excited when they entered and saw all the new items. Some of them remarked how they planned to save up their points for some of the high-end things they could buy.
