Daniel K. Inouye Elementary School formerly known as Hale Kula Elementary School is located on the Schofield Barracks Army Installation. Built in 1959, the school services students from special education pre-school to the fifth grade. 98% of our students are military dependents, making transition and deployment issues unique challenges for our students. With the completion of new, environmentally-friendly houses in our geographic area and the re-drawing of geographical boundaries, our enrollment has increased to about 920 students this past school year.
