My students are predominantly Army dependents, with parents who are faced with multiple deployments and changes in post. Some of the children have not had much exposure to using these types of technology tools at home. Our classroom is an inclusive classroom, with general education and special education students learning together. With such a diverse population of students with differing needs, hands-on learning and technology tools would greatly assist students with their learning in all subject areas.
