It is also a tool I like to use during parent conferences to show parents their children's progress throughout the school year. The use of their daily journals is a great tool to see their growth. We also go through our crayons like crazy and also to avoid going through paper copies I like to use our plastic sheets (sleeves) to avoid having to make copies and wasting paper. My students are very lucky to have people like you care about their needs and education. We use our dry erase pocket sleeves, markers and erasers daily for our daily math and language art lessons. Our instruction incorporates activities that are engaging and fun and a lot of hands on. We are a title I school, and we don't have a lot of money in our budget for materials and with the materials you've funded for us it allows us to save time and money by making limited number of copies and reusing and repurposing what we have. My students were so excited to receive the materials especially our erasers since we would use pom poms in our dry erase marker that would easily fall off and not to mention our crayon sharpener. Now they are able to continue to use their broken crayons. They were so excited when they discovered that there is also a crayon sharpener. I want to be able to continue to inspire my students learning through the use of different materials and provide them the tools they need to be successful in live. I am so excited to share with you, the difference you are making in the lives of my students. They are more engaged; they participate more because they like to use the materials that are available to them.
