I told them that I had written a project and that people from different parts of the United States believed in our idea and wanted to help our classroom. The moment they understood that strangers had supported them because they believed in their creativity was incredibly special.\r\n\r\nOur project, \"Art With Purpose: Creating From Recycled Materials,\" allows students to create art using materials that we recycle in our school community. Instead of seeing these items as waste, students are transforming them into meaningful artistic pieces. The materials you helped provide have turned our classroom into a creative workshop where imagination, collaboration, and environmental awareness come together.\r\n\r\nYour support is doing much more than providing supplies. It is showing students that there are people beyond our classroom who believe in their ideas and want to help them learn, create, and grow. The six new recycling bins have truly transformed our community at the International School at Gregory.\r\n\r\nMiddle schoolers from the Recycling Club have taken full ownership of this project. Every Wednesday and Friday, they proudly collect materials from each bin and help the custodians sort everything correctly. Their hard work and enthusiasm have made such an impact that we had to contact the county to have the recycling truck come twice a week because of all the recyclables being collected!\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the bins, they were thrilled! Their excitement quickly spread—teachers, kids, custodians, and even our principals love the bins! The colorful containers have become a daily reminder that when we work together, small actions can lead to big change.\r\n\r\nThis project beautifully supports our \"Gregory Grows Green\" initiative, inspiring everyone in the building to care for our planet.
