When students are engaged in reading, they want to read even more! It is crucial that my students have a variety of books that are matched to their reading levels. Students should have access to high-quality, high-interest texts to get them motivated to read even more. In first grade, students are moving from learning to read to reading to learn! It is incredibly important that they have the right materials in their classroom to ensure their success in years to come. These books and bins will help students to gain confidence in their own literacy skills and become independent and intrepid readers.
