Second grade is a critical time in a child's development—academically, socially, and emotionally. With your help, we've been able to create a safe and nurturing space where students can learn to recognize and manage their emotions in healthy and constructive ways.\r\n\r\nThe Calm Down Corner has become a trusted tool in our classroom. Equipped with sensory items, breathing cards, emotion charts, and mindfulness activities, it offers students a space to pause, reflect, and regain control when they are feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, or anxious. A few of the real impacts include: increased self-awareness, improved self-regulation, and a sense of ownership.\r\n\r\nYour support has planted seeds of emotional resilience and self-awareness that will benefit our students not only in the classroom but throughout their lives.
