My school serves a diverse community of learners and families. It is a title one school with a large percentage of students receiving free and reduced breakfast and lunch. Many students are from low income, single parent, or struggling to "make ends meet" families. Classrooms are inclusive and teachers strive to meet the needs of special education students, students with behavioral challenges, and children with a wide variety of academic abilities, interests, and learning styles.
