The flexible seating options (floor cushions, beanbag chairs, stools, and portable desks) have made an immediate and powerful impact on my students. When they first entered the room and saw the vibrant cushions and inviting beanbags, their eyes lit up excitedly. Students eagerly picked their favorite spots, and for the first time, I saw them settle into their reading and writing tasks with a new sense of comfort and focus. The beanbag chairs became cozy reading nooks, while the portable desks allowed students to work independently or collaborate in pairs with ease. During our reading time, students now spread out comfortably, choosing the best seating that helps them focus. I've noticed that even my most restless students can sit longer and engage more deeply with their work. The stools have been perfect for small group activities, making transitions smoother and group discussions more interactive. One student even shared that the new setup \"makes it feel like home,\" and it's clear that these small changes have made a huge difference in how they approach learning. As we move forward, these resources will continue to support our classroom projects. Our next big focus is on collaborative writing and peer editing, and the flexible seating will allow students to partner up easily, moving their seats wherever they feel comfortable working. Your support has not only given my students a place to learn but also a place to feel valued, safe, and inspired. Thank you for making such a meaningful difference in their educational journey.","fullyFundedDate":1746786081447,"projectUrl":"project/seats-that-support-success-focus-comfo/9324833/","projectTitle":"Seats That Support Success: Focus, Comfort, and Growth","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Torrez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8527072_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1721685304588","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8527072"},{"teacherId":8527072,"projectId":8964801,"letterContent":"I can't thank you enough for your kindness and generosity. Because of you, every student in my classroom now has their own pair of headphones—and the difference it's made is incredible. Before, my students were struggling to hear their lessons over the classroom noise, often getting frustrated or losing focus. Now, they're locked in and fully engaged with their new headphones. It's like a whole new level of learning has opened up for them. Whether listening to a read-aloud, working on math fluency, or diving into a science video, they can focus without distractions—and it shows in their confidence and excitement.\r\n\r\nWhat's been especially heartwarming is seeing how much joy this simple tool has brought. One of my quieter students, who used to get overwhelmed during computer time, told me, \"I feel like I can finally hear my own learning.\" Moments like that remind me why I do this work—and why your support means so much. These headphones aren't just classroom supplies—they're tools helping my students learn, grow, and feel seen. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in them and giving them this chance to shine.","fullyFundedDate":1742247501811,"projectUrl":"project/amplifying-voices-empowering-minds-hea/8964801/","projectTitle":"Amplifying Voices, Empowering Minds: Headphones for Focused Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Torrez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8527072_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1721685304588","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8527072"},{"teacherId":9643809,"projectId":9023035,"letterContent":"Thank you for donating to my project to get two portable whiteboards. The students are talking about math, collaborating, sharing knowledge and thinking about math. Based on studies conducted by Peter Liljedahl, vertical non-permanent surfaces are the best place for students to work on for math.
