I will be working in all of the second grade classrooms to support all students. Some of these students struggle with autism, ADHD, sensory processing, and other diagnoses that create a barrier for success. Each of these materials will assist students in learning appropriate responses and behaviors for the classroom. The books listed will be used for as a platform to discuss what are possible replacement behaviors and what inappropriate behaviors look like. All items will support students to remain in the classroom and to be successful participants as they progress through the school year. My goal is that each second grade student will not only grow exponentially in math and reading, but also grow socially and emotionally.
