Now students have the luxury of choosing a book of their choice, varied by levels and a quiet hub for independent or partner reading along with flexible seating. I want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your generous donation of a color printer and laminator to our classroom.\r\nYour thoughtful gift is already making a significant impact. The ability to print in color allows us to create engaging, visually rich materials that support student learning, while the laminator ensures those resources are durable and long-lasting. These tools will not only enhance the daily learning experience but also help us create a more organized and stimulating classroom environment.\r\n\r\nIt's acts of kindness like yours that remind us of the incredible support our community offers to education. Your donation is helping us go above and beyond in providing a creative and supportive space where students can thrive.\r\n\r\nThank you once again for your generosity and support. Thanks to your generous donations, not just one—but now two—classes have had the opportunity to thrive in an enriched, flexible, and engaging learning environment.\r\n\r\nOne of the most meaningful impacts was seen through the simple yet powerful gift of a laptop desk. It gave my vision-impaired student the freedom to work comfortably from anywhere. She even brought it with her to her reading class, where having a personal workspace made a world of difference. That kind of independence and inclusion would not have been possible without your help.\r\n\r\nLast year, with a particularly energetic group of students, the wobbly cushions and stools were an absolute game-changer. They allowed students to make seating choices that supported their focus, movement, and individual learning styles. Because of these options, they were not only more comfortable—they were more engaged, and learning flourished.\r\n\r\nAnd now, stepping into this new school year, all I can say is—WOW. The difference your continued support has made is truly remarkable.\r\n\r\nThe anchor chart holder has become one of my favorite classroom additions. Having a dedicated, accessible place to display our learning tools has added structure and consistency that benefits every student. The digital wall clock has helped my students build time management skills—they're more aware of transitions, deadlines, and even when it's time to head home. It's a small item with a big impact.\r\n\r\nThe counting frames and color counters have brought math and phonemic awareness lessons to life in vibrant, hands-on ways. These tools make abstract concepts concrete—and seeing the \"aha\" moments on my students' faces is priceless.\r\n\r\nBecause of your kindness, I've been able to reach professional goals I once only hoped for—and more importantly, my students are thriving. Your support has planted seeds of confidence, curiosity, and joy in my classroom that will grow throughout the year.\r\n\r\nFrom the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in us and making this project a reality. Your generosity has made a lasting difference.","fullyFundedDate":1745085899459,"projectUrl":"project/when-i-move-i-learn/9213904/","projectTitle":"When I Move, I Learn!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Montenegro","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp1710562_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1465073938187","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1710562"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_55102","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":841,"numTeachers":42,"percentFrplEligible":76,"percentAsian":3,"percentBlack":9,"percentWhite":1,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":82,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 4","studentTeacherRatio":"20.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":61.2,"schoolId":55102,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Granada Elementary School-West on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Granada Elementary School-West","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/arizona/alhambra-elementary-school-district-68/granada-primary-school/55102"}
