I am hoping to secure two iPads that would be housed in our classroom for immediate student use. These iPads would be highly impactful for my deserving students. With large class sizes, it can be difficult to meet the needs of all learners. I teach third grade, but my students are at levels ranging from kindergarten to fourth grade. The addition of two iPads would help struggling students to receive the interventions they need to grow, and students who require a challenge can receive extensions to allow them to flourish. The addition of these iPads will prepare students for a technology-driven future. These devices would be utilized for learning apps like iReady and Imagine Learning, which will increase proficiency in math and literacy. Students needing an extension can use the iPads for presentations and project-based learning. My students already have the drive and desire to succeed; they just need the tools to help them accomplish their goals and dreams!
