Your gift has made a meaningful difference in our daily routine and has truly enhanced the way our students engage during circle time.\r\n\r\nBefore the carpet arrived, our students sat on a hard floor, which often made it difficult for them to stay focused and comfortable during group discussions, read-alouds, and morning meetings. Now, thanks to your kindness, they have a cozy and inviting space where they can gather, share ideas, and build classroom community.\r\n\r\nThe carpet has quickly become a favorite spot in our room. It's not just a place to sit—it's a place where friendships grow, stories come to life, and learning feels warm and welcoming. The snacks brought big smiles and a sense of comfort during the long testing days. When they saw the colorful review materials, many were excited and said it made learning feel more like play. The printer ink and colored pencils helped turn otherwise stressful test prep into something they could really engage with.\r\n\r\nWe used the printer ink and colored pencils to create engaging games and interactive activities to help our 5th graders prepare for the STAAR test. Students worked in small groups to complete colorful review stations, play vocabulary bingo, and solve math puzzles—all printed and designed right in our classroom thanks to the new supplies. During testing days, the snacks helped keep students energized and focused. It was a wonderful balance of fun learning and support!\r\n\r\n\r\nNow that testing is over, we're doing creative end-of-year projects to review what we've learned. We're using the remaining supplies to make posters, journals, and fun activities to reflect on the year. We also had a celebration day where everyone enjoyed snacks and took a well-earned break. Our elementary school is a Title I campus, which means that more than 80% of our students are from low socioeconomic backgrounds. Many parents work more than one job.
