Through these donations, I have been able to provide materials and resources that meet my students' diverse learning needs, helping to create a more inclusive and supportive environment.\r\n\r\nThe funded resources have allowed for more individualized instruction, hands-on learning, and sensory supports that help students stay engaged and regulated throughout the day. Many of my students benefit from visual aids, adaptive tools, and interactive materials that would otherwise be difficult to provide within a limited budget. With these supports, students are better able to participate, communicate, and build academic and life skills.\r\n\r\nBeyond academics, these resources also support my students' confidence and independence. When students have tools that work for their needs, they experience more success, which positively impacts their motivation and self-esteem. \r\n\r\nSince we have received the materials we have created so many dynamic and fun art projects using stencils, air dry clay, paint sticks, liquid watercolor, shape stamps and so much more. \r\n\r\nOverall, this funding has directly improved my students' learning experiences by giving them equitable access to tools that help them grow, succeed, and feel supported in the classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1763320938331,"projectUrl":"project/coloring-the-future-inspiring-young-art/9497494/","projectTitle":"Coloring the Future: Inspiring Young Artists Through Adaptive Art","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Tappin","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mandi-tappin"},{"teacherId":9849515,"projectId":9237712,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generosity and your commitment to supporting education. From Donors Choose I received a listening center and kindergarten classic books like Dr. Seuss and Clifford that will allow up to 6 students to listen to a book on CD while each having a book to hold and follow along with the audio. We have i-pads so why would we want a listening center? I believe that there is a significant difference for young students to hold and follow along with a real book instead of a screen. They are building both their listening skills and visual skills to make them better readers.\r\n\r\nIn addition, we generously received play-doh, markers, dry erase markers, dry erase erasers, and pocket sheets. This is what the classroom looks like right now since school is out, but thanks to you our classroom will be well stocked for students to jump into learning in September.","fullyFundedDate":1746787306482,"projectUrl":"project/kindergarten-listening-center/9237712/","projectTitle":"Kindergarten Listening Center","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Pavlic","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9849515_orig.jpg?crop=1142,1142,x913,y282&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753147766522","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9849515"},{"teacherId":9849515,"projectId":8973758,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our classroom. This is my first year back in a public school classroom in 20 years. Things have changed in the classroom setting in 20 years, and I was definitely struggling with keeping 22 busy kindergarteners quiet and focused for our time on the carpet. You stepped in to help us! When they saw our new cushions, they were thrilled. They use them both at their desks as well as on the carpet during our group times. Even more exciting for the students was seeing the squishy balls that they could use in the afternoon during group time. The hope and goal was that having comfortable seating and fun fidget toys would help students be able to focus on learning.\r\nWhile these items did not solve all of my classroom management issues and create a perfect classroom, being supported did encourage me to continue and persevere in my own learning and growing during the difficult time of adjusting to being back in the classroom.
